Fees

The execution of any swap in a DeFi ecosystem generally includes two types of fees -- Protocol fees (fees charged by the protocol) and gas fees (fees paid to miners/validators). At DZap, we want to provide our users with a hassle-free experience, which is why we have streamlined our fee structure.

Gas fees

Users only need to pay gas fees when they interact with their positions, such as creating a position, modifying it, claiming, ending the position, or giving/revoking permissions. However, users will not need to pay any gas fees for swaps as these network fees will be covered by the swappers.

This means that users can enjoy the benefits of swapping without having to worry about any additional fees, making our platform more cost-effective and user-friendly. By covering the gas fees for swaps, we aim to make the swapping process more accessible to a wider audience, including those who may have previously been deterred by high transaction fees.

Swapper Fees

It is important to note that protocol fees are only collected on swaps, not when user interact with their position. As of now, DZap charges a protocol fee of 0.5%.

Users are only charged a protocol fee on the swaps they execute, and the fee is deducted from the amount of swapped tokens. Any un-swapped tokens are not subject to the protocol fee.
